My guess would be the amount of the source cell; Charlotte and the other enhance human might have been injected with diluted form of the Alien cell, while our MC took the parent cell completely inside his body. So what I'm trying to say is that Charlie's survival may not be that pretty.
Plz don't do this to me. I actually want a happy ending. My heart is breaking. How was Charlotte successful, and as a baby no less? I feel like theres something more to it than just infusing the alien specimen. Is she actually a hybrid?
