They are characters he created. It seems that the game he used to play was complicated enough to create complete background stories for them.
as aardvark said, they're all NPCs created by him - which could be given a 'lore' if the creator wants. He did, and when he jumped into that world, they became real people based on what their lores describes them - while still being subordinates to him.
Can someone pls help. The people he summoned are they real people or just characters he created? Cos the guy talked about being in sch wit the ML
