I do have some guesswork for him... well, It's up to discussion.. really
1. He is a revolutionary figure. but lacking delicacy or... a proper maneuvering move... i suppose
2. A good 'government' official, but somewhat awkward in interpersonal relationship
3. Pretty stubborn once decided on something, even kinda oblivious at what it costed him.
People who grew up within a environment full of custom and tradition perhaps will know it better of how it feels... like considering it borderline useless, total crap, or has wrong priority.
So far, I deduced that he's really thinking about his people well being, but his action pretty much didn't sit well with the norm in aristocracy society, and maybe even considered that (noble) family honor are incomparable to the need of masses. At this point, I consider him oblivious to what his action has costed him, but at the same time he WILL use everything that is 'beneficial' to him.
Ever heard the proverb:
(1) A good leader doesn't mean that he's also a good follower/participant, or
(2) A man professional in work doesn't mean that he's a good father or husband in family bussiness.
That's my take on him
So is the crown prince hateful? or cute? or great? or asshole? or cunning?
Aghhhh! I can't figure out his personality and reasons of action!
This is the first time I can't figure out what behind the character!
