Loooooool, I said this to myself too! But I understand where Jiwon is coming from. He started broadcasting because he felt it was a place people could accept him and love him. It was the place he belonged without feeling too exposed or vulnerable. But now that he found a true place that he could be accepted and loved, yet be vulnerable and exposed at the same time, broadcasting is mediocre and unnecessary. In this specific situation, he feels he has no need for broadcasting anymore.
BUT yes, if the situation was different and Jiwon himself wanted to continue, he shouldn't feel compelled to stop broadcasting. I really appreciate that DG did not have complaints about it and actually encouraged his work. They had great communication in this chapter and hopefully it continues so that Jiwon can decide whether he'd like to continue broadcasting or not (and please use this skill in the future!).
