Doubtful, it was a novel to begin with. It was probably the way the artist drew it.
Thought so too. On the other hand sad ends are kind of downers
It feels like author-san change here mind half way, seems like it was meant to be a sad ending with uke kun diying from desease ….I think it could have been more developped but it was a cute story
