I know that, that's why I'm not angry at it. I feel as if though, since most of my asain friends are naturally tanned, that they shouldn't have the excuse of "I don't see many tan people here". Many Koreans and Japanese people naturally have the same skin tone as Amazonians. I don't know how I can wrap my head around this thought; I understand why they may have done it so I'm not mad but at the same time I don't think that excuse is good enough to justify that they did in fact make her very pale.

Also it's not racist to say that. It is a bit wrong though. Like I said before, there are a volumes of people in east Asia on the browner side. In Asian culture though it's seen to prefer lighter skin. That's why darker East Asian people aren't on television as well as how skin bleaching packets are skyrocketing there.

I don’t like white-washing in any way even though I am as pale as a ghost. I don’t justify them either but I think this why they made people so pale or so tall or so fit because everyone is like that or their weebtoons are just a reflection to their ideal type/ ideal person to be. And I learn something new everyday! I believe tanner skin is beautiful and I hope the media will give a chance to tan skinned people to show their natural skin.
This would've been a perfectly good opportunity to have a tanner skinned protagonist. Not mad but fairly confused on why they didn't make her skin like an Amazonian's. I get that this is a comic and it isn't real but it is a bit of a missed opportunity on something that isn't that hard.
