Leaving means many times showing your back to be shot!!! Not sure if this is the case, I also prefer she doesn't use both families status because that is puttong herself in a trap... but we will see in the next chapter if it was a good idea!!!
If she had walked away she would have looked like the bad guy in this situation and that would have put her at a disadvantage plus in that day using your family status as a tool was just as important as using you intellect
I would honestly have liked it if she'd just walked away and not sit there to have a verbal match of inanity. I think choosing your battles is a sure sign of maturity. This was just being petty.
