Tbh I agree but for this specific team I literally can’t stand the way they release chapters and make you do scavanger hunts for the passwords. All the other discord servers I’m in provide the password along with the chapter and its so much nicer. I get that it’s supposed to stop the reposting to other sites but I genuinely believe it just backfires because more people don’t want to deal with it lol. I know I take long breaks between reading certain series and I just get really confused and spend a long time going back and forth between chapters for passwords.

I would have agreed to you before their "VIP system" which they excuse as "Donations for RAWS" but now I somehow laugh at them and hope other scantalation picks this up.

First:
They want to make the passwords very hard mostly not giving a hint so readers will have to keep on going back to their other works thus generating money in the site thru ads.

Second:
First one would have been no problem to me, it's kinda annoying but still they somehow deserve it,

the one ticks me off and other members where they where accepting donations and only those who gave them donations can read the series in advance.


Donation are fine, they shrugs it off as "DONATIONS FOR RAWS" but for me... in real... is also same as VIP SYSTEM.

Good thing most members where not that blind if it was continued next thing you know you have to donate to read 2-3 weeks ahead than non-donators.

They are not the author nor the licensed English translators and they already have money coming to them thru their website's ads and now they also want donations?


They buy RAWS, yes it also means they support the Author, but they only need 1 for them to translate it and we don't know how much they are getting from the ads and donations.

Also, this series was not as active here as when that VIP SYSTEM fiasco started.

So I guess the ones that uploaded it here almost the same time as they release it in their Discord maybe are those who can't stand their lying and cheating ass anymore.

I try my best to support og fan scanlations, especially when they make it so easy, but you've pretty much summed up why I given that group a hard pass.

Wow for real? I don’t think I was in the group discord when that happened, I wasn’t aware of any of this. That’s literally so crappy. So they were exchanging raws for donations? Its like paying a 3rd party to sell you a product they don’t own! I assume they didn’t alter the originals at all. Big yikes from me. I hope this series gets picked up by another group eventually.

You have no idea what your talking about! So don’t just slander the team. That system was to reward people how donate in order to help the team for the readers. The team did not force anyone to donate and the money did not go to the team. Other group also did similar things in rewarding readers who participated in competition and such and gave an early access release to chapters. The team doing it completely voluntary and if people want to help because the goodness of their own hart it depends on them. Also... there are a lot of other team that asking for donations and I don’t see anyone saying anything bad about that. But it much more easier to just sit on your arse and complain about others hard work. Isn’t it? You troll. Good luck in your next life as a dung beetle

They are Milking off the real Author who does the REAL HARD WORK for free!

No they weren't exchaging raws for donation.
They are accepting Donation "non-voluntary" and most of the Donation will be for them buying the RAWS.

It also means they support the Author by doing so.

For me, accepting donations non-voluntary to support the Author is a big yes.

What we can't accept is they are giving the donators advance chapters than non-donators.

Those who are new on this thing might think its quite okay, but I have been in many scantalation groups novels, mangas, etc. and I know greed when I see one.

Most of the members have forseen it too, thus the past week was quite a riot so I have to quit.

They are already generating money on their ads, they have very hard passwords so that people will keep searching for the past ep. thus generates ads again.

Those, for me, are just fine.

But when they are about to go VIP system route?
thats the last straw and I'm out!

Sorry made a mistake its "VOLUNTARY" not non-voluntary.

Yes, their are other groups who asks for Donations and give gifts as a reward but what they did was not for reward, if they are saying it like that to their members now then nice dodge!

Those who asks for donations don't give VIP pass to their donators and yes they give gifts but they did not establish a group's name and you can also be one if you donate like the Sawa did, it was specifically mentioned in the announcement!

If a group I am in does that, I always quit because I know where it is heading.

And I also mentioned many times here that ads on your website is just fine, even though you specially make it hard so that others will have to fish out the pass on other ep. which generates ads again.

Why does other good scans does not do that?
They also have ads, yes, but they give it out pass easily.

You just don't get the point that other than your ads you are starting to create a VIP System those who Donates voluntary will be part of the group that are "gifted" advance eps.

How should I know how your scans thinks when you get busted you might pull others too for petty reasons?

I really hate greedy guys like you speaking like you are the Author and spouting "doing hard work" by translating but getting a lot of money from ads and donations.

I would accept those good scans that is not greedy and working hard even though they don't get almost nothing by translating.

Those kind of scan groups are the "hard-worker".

We already closed the donation and gave the money back because of people like you how did not understand our intentions. you talk big but I don’t see you paying to read.. no.. you like a lot of other people reading from “stolen work” good riddance. I have physical book collection mostly novels, if only I can post it here, mainly english or english translated.
And has accounts with the official eng. trans. its just sometimes scan groups has rare and good ones and mostly they translate faster.


I maybe read Manga,Manhua, Manwha for free but I DID NOT GET ANY MONEY FROM IT.
