I am aware that team gives HINTS for passwords unlike other teams that directly give the password along with notification of the chapter release. It’s not direct and I simply said it was an inconvenience & that it was possibly encouraging people to post chapters outside of the dedicated website... To be honest at this point I do not care if the series is dropped, someone else will pick it up eventually even if it’s a year down the line. I understand you’re dealing with a lot of backlash but being so hostile really doesn’t help much. Sorry I got you mad but, really?

Nobody asked you to translate it. You have no right to act all high and mighty just because you did something voluntarily. At this point I won't mind if you just drop it.

okay wait. It's true that nobody asked them to translate this... specifically... but have you been the the dropped mangas' comment sections? They are filled with people wondering if another group is going to pick it up or if it will be continued. I'm sure that this manga IS popular enough that if they did decide to drop it, someone else will pick it up.
BUT still, at least be a little gracious and thankful that they even bothered to translate. It takes time, effort, and money. And money not only in the sense of raws and website and whatever else, money as in time. Time is an invaluable asset that these people are giving up for us to read chapters. That's incredibly nice of them.
And NO, they shouldn't be arrogant and manipulative but... I kinda fail to see how that happened here in the comment section. Thebluefairy, I think, felt attack. It's their team and their efforts seemed to be getting disgracefully stomped on and spat at. So... Of course they would want to defend something important to them. We should thank them for their help but they should also know that they cannot hover releases over us like some sort of monster. (Which I don't think they are but if they are... oop).
lol they are hovering releases over our heads though. one of the first things the fairy person said to me was 1) an attack on my character and 2) a threat to drop the series because of “ungrateful people like me”. im not saying this to be rude to you because your points are totally valid, but did you read all the replies? by the way i do believe scanlators should be respected and thanked but when they act the way this one has, even though they are doing a voluntary service, its not a total shocker that their audience would begin to feel frustrated.

You guys sound a little ungrateful. I've read countless of manga and novel translations and its really not odd if they ask for a donation at the end. They don't force you to donate so if you so know with your 'all-seeing eyes' that they are profiting then just don't give them donations. I've never given one yet have still been able to read their translations without a problem.
Also, you may not know this but when one scan group starts translating a manga another really doesn't take it up unless the group has abandoned it which they haven't and most scan groups work the same way a lot are actually setting up passwords to prevent re-posting. In some of my other discord groups they are making the passwords even harder to prevent their stories from being re-posted.

And the 'reward system' if you weren't stubborn about it because I honestly doubt Sugureta or any of you will change their mind about it, is not that uncommon. They even posted the conversation in their chat that it came about because they felt extremely grateful about it. They never demanded one.
It really not that uncommon. I mean seriously. Not joking. Read a lot of scans and novels from groups. Seriously not that weird.
You guys don't want to join the group then fine no one is going to force you but don't go slandering a team when you only have half the story.
But you know whats the greatest irony of all is that when this manga is fully available on tappytoon. Not a single one of you is going to even buy a single chapter support the author which is where all the groups donations go.

Idk if you where ff sawateam in discord but at first the donation was not a gift to those who will donate, they only said that it was a gift later when they got into hot water.
I am fully aware of gift systems and donations(non-greed) to other scan groups/ novel sites as well as those greedy groups who are mostly gone now and someone picked up their work.
I have lots of discord groups and novel sites as well, especially the latter started 2008, so I kinda know somehow.
but I do hope you read all of our comments here since I already explained the Sawa's version, in which later they called "gift", I am tired of repeating it all over just because someone did not read before commenting. ^^
