Can I ask a serious question and I'm open to ALLLLLLLLLL types of feedback and made sure to allow anonymous responses

Why do some people think that having low self esteem is that person's fault? I see comments like "well he should have just spoken up" or "joowon's that way cuz haesoo let him be that way you cant blame him"
Like dont get me wrong its obviously not the way to live but wouldn't you want that person to want to love themselves and better themselves after taking it for so long ? Instead of criticizing his actions while he's trying to figure out his own journey and his own way to love himself and have a better view of himself. You cant expect haesoo to have such respect for himself when his older brother (please remember that joowon technically is supposed to be his older brother and most people take guidance from older siblings)basically taught him that he ain't shit...

Well, I have an incredible low self esteem but let me tell you: I am an adult and I also have the must to not let others walk all over me. So even if I value myself 0, I never per anyone do what they want.

I feel the same of myself now but when I was a teenager I didn't understand the severity of what was being done to me if I was being disrespected or taken advantage of to think it was bad until I got a bit older. I don't think we should condemn haesoo for doing what SOME teens usually do in their first relationships which is settle with things for the person they like. The problem to me is as he kept settling everything joowon did to him made him feel more and more worthless. He is learning now that he shouldn't have to take that treatment and now that he's standing up for himself I actually seen ppl call him a passive aggressive bitch for confusing joowon or not letting joowon go down on him. Also you dont have 0 self esteem if you have that mentality. Give yourself more credit you value yourself more than you think!

Yeah, even if my answer was like that I don't think I can judge H, especially since he was a little boy.
Anyway...I don't think that J is the bad guy here, just like I don't think H is.. I don't think H is a victim too. I really do think J love him and didn't tell him to justify himself in front of the mother and because he thinks H just love playing with other guys on a whim and loves him too. I think in J perspective he even is the forgiving one. XD We will see but I'm sure I'm right about this thing..
