Yeah I agree. I don’t think he did it out of meanness. Maybe Akari May want Sato too, but his words hold truth to it though.

I truly hope it's not because akari has feelings towards sato.. I think it would be great if it just came out as a friend worried about other friend and protecting him from the shit he went through.. There is so much mangas about friends, and one of them being gay and the other one finds out about it so he falls in love with him.. I've seen, it's even in this manga.. It kind of shows that if you have a gay friend you can't stay friends with them unless you're in a relationship with them and it kind of tires me.. So I really hope Akari said that out of concern and not bacause of some feelings towards Sato.. It would feel kind of rewarding I think.. I dont know if you get what I mean XD
I feel like that the gay friend,Akari is not a bad person .. he is just testing Mikami's feelings ..as we all know Mikami is quite stupid & needs time to process things .. he doesn't want him to approach Sato with half assessed feelings ..since Mikami is quite stupid hetero guy .. he made him realized that what it will be like having a BF & look down upon by society..Although it came off as a little harsh .. but he wants both his friends to be happy ...
