Make him jealous

I'm not usually one who likes making characters jealous to make the plot more interesting, however this time, the fact that the uke is trying really hard and has received nothing but criticism and never-ending rejection just makes me want him to get some sort of shine (or whatever you call it). Plus the ukes character is very well liked in the sense that he knows what he wants, understands that not everything will just be handed to him, and he's learning as he goes. Yet all he's received so far is misunderstandings, criticism, and other ppl telling him that he needs to be more understanding. Hell, I'd pay to have another side character just appear to make the uke shine and have ppl realize that the uke has been doing his best and deserves some affection (that he's been working hard to receive but never given). Plus, I think the seme needs to realize that the uke is a young man who has enough appeal to attract more ppl than just himself. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
