Lihuan did confess. Confessions don't help, only trust will, and Yuyang doesn't have a reason to trust Lihuan. What would be good is if Yuyang could tell Lihuan about his fears, just to get it off his chest even. It's not that I think Lihuan could say something and all's good, just that starting a dialogue and unloading some of that burden would be good overall for Yuyang.
