okay I know his ex omega gf had a very very tragic story, however, I have this little inkling of doubt that she may turn into an antagonist who randomly shows up after the two main characters establish their feelings for one another, claiming to be the father of his child. I mean, as they showed in chapter 4, the poor girl was raped (with visual representation that there had been fluid exchanges via the images) but it was never confirmed in detail whether he was part of the alpha group who had done her or whether he was just unable to help. He did claim that he was in the room with his friends and its known that he has regrets. But is it regret that he had given into his rut or that he wasn't able to save her in time? Overall, I have a feeling that the plot is gonna thicken and bring the ex omega gf back in with a child after that whole ordeal and probably claim him as the father. That, or I'm just looking into this way too much lol (づ￣ ³￣)づ
