If the guy with the black hair is so unsure that the MC is the girl who disappeared 10 years ago, why don't he just have the MC take a DNA test to see if it matches the girl who disappeared.

    Well, it is a fantasy. Perhaps in that world, DNA testing isn't possible. Just like time travel isn't possible in our world (yet)
