Is he in heat-- Or did he just grow in ears and a tail?

No, he didn't just grow ears and a tail. Since he is that of a female lycan instead of a male, he will in a sense be effect when a male releases their pheromones around him. So, I guess technically he is in a heat right now since those pheromones have effected him. It's kinda like an Alpha and Omega relationship.
(Ps - I'm not sure whether I'm correct or not, it's just how I perceive it from reading various of other things to this conclusion.)
