i guess we're all fucked up for wanting to see a healthier relationship between Yeonhwa and Dahye grow, lol.
from the recently added chapters, i think i can say with confidence that Yeonhwa's past relationship with Ayeon, and her current relationship with Yeonyoung have shown to her that she can love people without being rough or abusive (as this is seen to be how she shows her love and affection). her sadistic side doesn't seem to come up with Yeonyoung, and Yeonyoung's surprise to Yeonhwa being rough with her implies that they've never had very rough sex before. it'll probably resurface with her being with Dahye, and im especially looking forward to see how their relationship will progress...
mostly from Dahye's side. if they are to be together, im interested in how Dahye's obsession will change to love for Yeonhwa.

ok, i was thinking earlier about the fact that yeonhwa isn't always on "sadism mode" in her relationships, ayeon being an example of that! i know yeonhwa did fucked up stuff, but everyone seems hard pressed to make it seem like she can't redeem herself. so i'm glad i'm not alone in recognizing that yeonhwa has the capability to not be abusive!
i ship it haha. i am also interested to see if dahye can "forgive" yeonhwa, and if yeonhwa will apologize and try to make amends for what happened in high school. that's the only healthy way they could start something romantic (in my opinion). knowing how the original ended though, i do NOT have my hopes up for any relationship between them, let alone a healthy one haha. the author always seems to do something unexpected with their relationships
yeah the whole community seems to be split on whether or not Yeonhwa can love without being abusive, but i personally think she is capable of it. i think it depends on who she's with tho, so unless Dahye tones it down a couple notches, i fear we'll be seeing the original Yeonhwa again (tho she has already surfaced a bit).
i never thought to put Yeonhwa and Dahye together, so just the thought of them being together in any way is interesting to me. definitely hope they can have a healthy relationship at some point and get redemption for what they both did in the past. im also wondering whether or not the author is going to make this a redemption story for Yeonhwa and Dahye, or if this is going to end in a similar way the original did, so i'll definitely stick around for that.
i know we're all on edge that yeonhwa is going to do something crazy, but what if she doesn't? like, sure it might come out during sex at some point due to her sadism, but maybe it won't come out in her relationships in an unhealthy/abusive way. i can't assume that she's completely grown out of her abusive habits, but i can't also say that there hasn't been a lot of time for her to grow either. i think it would be cool to see her and dahye navigate where they are due to their high school experience. i don't think dahye owes her abuser anything (nor should she get revenge in the way that she is attempting) but it would be interesting to see them work together in some way, idk.
(or maybe i'm just fucked up and want to see them reconcile by hooking up a bunch lol)
