I was wondering the same thing...I wonder of it like he has to bite the name like in omegaverse but this is kinda different so idk

Hmmm, I don't know. Tbh I don't even have an Idea how real Wolves mark their Mates or if they mark their Mates... And Both of them have been together long enough for picking up eacht others Scent. So I don't think it's just rubbing the Scent on him. :/ Maybe it's really something like biting him or something like that.
