There are such things as reference drawings, ya know. I use them all the time if I don't know how to draw certain animals or objects. It's not that hard to take a few extra minutes to study other ways of drawing horses, rather than slap elongated hippos' legs onto a thing the artist claims to be a horse. :/

Yes, I am into art. I tend to draw very realistically, but I don’t expect everyone to draw like I do as I enjoy many types of art and I can appreciate all sorts of styles. In fact, I’m amazed by people who can draw cartoonish and cutesy styles since my brain doesn’t work that way.
To be clear, I don’t comment on every single manhua, manhwa, or manga when I see drawings that aren’t to my taste because I do understand deadlines and I know how much effort is put into these stories.
HOWEVER, there are times when the background animals or animals that are featured in certain panels that are so bad that it’s shocking the publisher allowed them to be seen by the public. I understand the artist is trying to depict some scene or wants to express a story in a certain way (and thus doesn’t pay a lot of attention to certain things), but I feel they shouldn’t even bother adding that particular animal if they can’t spend five minutes (or less) copying the legs of a real horse from a picture off of Google to get the general shape down.
Why, in these types of manga, do the horses look like a child drew them?! Honestly, it is not that hard to get reference material for horses. The top half was fine for a cartoon-like horse, but those legs...my word...those ugly ass legs. *shudders*
