Actually, it is acceptable to wear on left or right hand. The wedding ring can be worn with or without engagement ring and worn on left or right hand. Although it's traditional to use the left hand, it's not a major faux pas if the bride chooses the right. There are European countries where the right hand is traditional as well...so whatever floats your boat
