i honestly like that the author continues establishing a toxic underlying factor to the relationship rather than automatically making it all "sweet" and "wholesome" after the shit show they put each other through. like that's just not realistic nor reasonable, there'd be no way for the relationship to develop into a completely healthy one just like that

    Definitely. This is not a healthy relationship and it never was. Both Seungho and Dohyun were/are extremely damaged. They're incapable of having any healthy social connections. Neither of them have friends or ever truly had friends. By some twisted fate they connected and effectively damaged each other even more. This was only able to happen because they're both sick. Healthy people create boundaries and would have never put up with or accepted the behaviors they both displayed in high school.

    This webtoon is incredibly realistic because it constantly confronts all that is wrong and never excuses the behavior of either character. Things are definitely not alright and neither Seungho nor Dohyun ever had the tools to make them alright.
