First of all how you compare the two when the grandpa had seen her grew up, a family and was there her whole life when a fiancé is basically just a person who would see her once in a while. It’s not like he lived with her since childhood to actually recognise her the same way her grandpa did. Also a family’s love is different to someone who’d just been set up as your partner

... it literally has him say they grew up together and he had loved her since she way young to that fake. You know that they haven’t merely been set up together, and while they haven’t had as long as the Grampa they have had several years at least
