Me too. It was fun and happy at the start but... in the following flow of the plot, I think the quality of the story just got dropped by a serious degree(for me). Would much prefer if he just persistently followed Annet and the group(that way he couldn't even have met that thot sly b*tch)
If he did he would've ended up dead in an accident (like what happened to the knight maybe) or probably framed for a crime and labelled as a criminal.
He's trying to investigate what's happening and trying to fix it from the inside like his friends asked him to do. The evil bitch has her hands on the Lord and on a group of magicians, he needs to think carefully before acting.
You need to think about politics and dirty methods guys, strength is not the only way to resolve things ╮(￣▽￣)╭
