I feel the same, it super obvious that he’s hiding stuff, at first it was a way of life where females were free, which we thought was hidden just because their country would get ridiculed for it. But now is sounds like his country probably knows why only women should use magic, and has made it their strength, might be why Chris is so strong as well.

but also remember how he was able to get past the special knights and even the king with his power before revealing it? and how the knight that went to scope out his empire came back as a robot or at least not the real person? i like him but i feel so off with him
