I don't find it cheesy or cliche. I feel it adds to the story of why he stares are him and if you pay attention to the types of photos he takes, the faces is covered. But he wants to take a picture of Heasoo's face. I don't find it cheap/cheesy at all. I find it endearing.

I don’t read many bl stories so I am not sure about it, but my friend tells me she rarely see this syndrome in most of stories she reads (not only bl stories ╮(￣▽￣)╭

It's really UNIQUE right? I'm looking for stories with impairments like winter the wind blows (kdrama) or SIGN (with Yohan being mute!) And THIS IS GENIUS! To think it was foreseen in chapter 3 or 5? When Taku met Haesoo.. but we never knew! We just thought Taku was weird staring at him. THAT WAS COOL.
The characters and the readers found his staring odd when it was just him trying to memorize a face or something. Yeongha is a genius.

Some commenters here have said that Taku having prosopagnosia and only recognizing Haesoo's face is cliche. I admit that it's cheesy... but cliche? Has this been used a lot of times in other mangas for people to call it "cliche"?
