There have been incidents of syringe attacks on women recently, the attackers mostly striking in the evening and night. I love going on walks in the evening but I have been advised not to do that and I'm afraid to do that too, even though my community is fairly safe. This is just one of the many liberties women are advised to give up for the sake of security, and while it's understandable, it's still very sad.
