Thanks, this comment of yours made me read it, and on the site you recommended, too. There was a bit of confusion on that site cause some names were switched in the first chapter but the translation was good. After I finished reading it there, I took a look at the first chapter here to see the difference.... and holy cow, you weren't exaggerating xDD
It's truly a nice manga owo

Honestly this is the most well written yaoi manga for me. I've lost count how many times i've reread this... it might seem too simple/mundane compared to other mangas, but honestly it's not easy at all to create something like this. The development of the characters and their relationship is truly realistic, and in its simplicity, i can find a lot of things i can relate to. The process in which yajima and outomi realized their sexuality, came to terms with it, and eventually told people around them, is a lot like mine. I've been through what they had, and I imagine it would have been such an encouragement for a younger me if i was able to find that representation in a manga. I don't need complicated storyline, i don't need overly sexualized relationship, i just need this: simple, relatable, yet really well written love story.
The sad thing is, i don't think i'd be able to find anything else like this manga. The reason why it's so good is because the author really took her time to build, develop, and resolve her story. She was able to do it in 3 volumes. These days, yaoi mangas without "shock factor" (which often comes to hypersexualized and nonsensical storyline) won't sell well. This manga was possible because it was an old one, from a time when there weren't many yaoi mangas yet. Now, if you want to read stories like this, it was mostly one volume (or even oneshot) and often under-explored.
I wish there will be a lot of mangas like this in the future. It would be good if authors (and publishers) started prioritizing stories which are relatable to gay community, rather than the ones who satisfy straight women's fantasies.
That being said, some of the chapters seem to have bad translation. Do yourself a favor and read it on m*ngar0ck, that version is far, far better than the one here.
