I am pretty sure that black haired man is actually Claude's older brother whom he 'killed' before (The biological father of Jennette) which makes him more of an *sshole.
I think so too. cause the brother was there when Claude was dying and Jennette was yelling out "dad" in one flashback or foreshadowing scene. Plus Jennette also thought he looked like Claude.
I just finished reading this! Its that black hair man fault! He put a spell or something on that bow Jennette gave. If this turns out to be like the original story that Athanasia been worrying how everything will turn out, Im going to be so pissed. I wonder what was that favor she ask of Claude. They can't just leave me on a cliffhanger like this...
