They already made the matchups ahead of time, you can see it in one of the earlier chapters.

I can't insert a pic but it's on chapter 4 pg 28 or 29. It doesn't show the matchups only the people fighting.
Not one mention of the biblical God or Jesus, or maybe the Author got struck with political correctness and decide not to offend anyone with the offensive Christianity God and God the son.
Jesus is like the new Adam to replace the old one and have a great love for mankind. Maybe Jesus will be the last contender in the final fight.
