Personally I want something good to happen to Alek because I kinda like him and he had it quite hard for his whole life. For the main couple I must say that I do not exactly disagree with you but I do not like what many authors do in order to satisfy readers with your opinion, and that is to come up with ridiculous drama and coincidences and misunderstandings for the story to be interesting. I like sometimes for a couple I like to see smooth stories, how they learn things for each other, there everyday life with affection of humor. It is my opinion of course but tragic-drama is getting on my nerves.
Yeah, reading manhwa sometimes they are over the top with their k drama. I also agree that I get fed up with some manga that 'everyone have a tragic backstory'. But I have read slice of life bl before like itoshi no nekokke and I like their daily interaction. Maybe don't use Hen being a tsun to Ivan's flirtation and end up giving up anyway cycle each time.

Yes and apart from finding a great partner I want for him to take over all the family companies, screw over those f@ing elders and patch things with Ivan. (Yes I know tough chance)

Unpopular opinion:
The only character I find interesting right now is Alek, whether it be in good or bad way. Don't get me wrong, at first I love Ivan and Hen dynamic, but it is getting repetitive and no new things are coming up.
