Nah, the person is just saying they believe that guy only has friendly/romantic feelz for MC uke, not romantic ones. I myself ain't so shore, some panels in raws made me doubt that, but I guess it's all the same in the end.
Don't worry, this really is just a gentle shounen-ai story, there won't be any heavy melodrama and in a chapter or two the ship (of MCs) will sail quite smoothly. Only the chick with long purple hair will have a bit of drama cooked, but nothing too heavy on the stomach
