I am definitely sure that his wife would be happy for him, since the new wifey is beautiful and also heart warming. I am also happy that he was able to move on with his life. Also quick question, you know the wedding vows...." Till death do we part" does that mean both have to be dead or just one. Because if that means one pasts away then the other partner is able to still fall in love with another person BUT will definetly still keep their memory of their previous partner special. The partner that is still alive can carry on a life of happiness for their previous partner and move forward but still acknowledge them?????????

I think it means that only death can physically separate the couple, so it applies to one passing away. People who lost their significant partner can marry another person, even though they technically didn’t divorce their previous partner. I do think that one never forgets their partner. It is possible to still deeply love the previous one and to love a new one you’re going to move on with. Love comes in many different forms. (*´꒳`*)

It's a bit long, but this really describes it well.

Isn't it "till death do 'us' apart"?
