I'm glad this story ended happily. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I DIDN'T STILL CRY MY EYES OUT!
Ah, I'm so glad that we were able to see everyone happy in their futures. This story is one of the few that dealt with death and the fears but also acceptance of it. It had the innocence of children (yes, they were still kids!) But with a teenage romance shoujo spin. I remember a few years ago, debating whether to continue reading this after the first chapter. I was afraid of Kira-kun dying. But inversely, that emotion is similar to Kira-kun's. Having to accept death and take life head on is a beautiful message. I try to avoid manga with inevitable death of main characters like this; it often hits too hard. But I'm glad I kept following this story ♡♡♡
