I feel that you are looking at Jowoon and Heasoo's relationship superficially and I find you to be a little immature on your viewpoint about Jowoon and Heasoo. I feel that you choose to see what you see, as long as it paints the story the way you want. It's not solely a misunderstanding. Even the author's note after the season 1 finale says this. It's pretty much a fucked up relationship and situation that cannot be just fixed with a ring and saying "I love you". That's not how real life works, neither does this story. Open your mind a little.

No, im not being immature.I just made my points clear from what i saw in the plot. I know that their relationship is hard to be fixed, i know its way more complicated than i think it is, and giving a ring and saying i love u is gonna mess things up even more. It needs a lot more than that. I spoke up because everyone is completely disregarding joowons feelings here. You can ship whatever u want i just believe joowon x Haesoo has better chemistry that taku x haesoo.

After reading the comments it seems im the only one who is supportive of joowon x haesu. Its cuz Joowon actually seems to care about Haesu, he gets anxious when haesoo doesn't pick up the call and ohhh boyy did y'all see how happy he was when he finally got a call from Haesoo. Cuuuuuteeee.

From the flashbacks, i guess i can say that joowon and haesoo were in love with each other but they never put their feelings into words, and when joowon said they were just fooling around to Haesoo's mother, thats where the problem began. Haesoo probably took it literally and thought that thats how it is, completely misunderstanding the situation. joowon was just trying to handle the situation by lying. Looking at the way their relationship is right now, the misunderstanding was never cleared up probably because of lack of conversation. But Joowon still LOVES Haesoo. Tho im not sure about Haesoo's feelings at present.
And Joowon has this red box in chp 35 or 34 idk. Could it be a ring for Haesoo? Hhmmmmm
