The book the pet shop owner had the same ending as the plot twist in the story. The tortoise won with the help of a 'look alike'. I've heard this kind of twist when I was a child.
Oh swear down, I’ve never heard of that ending before. In a way it makes me think about Grimm fairy tales vs Disney, there’s always a darker or more twisted ending.

I really liked the plot twist of the hare and tortoise story and I’m really curious to know how the book (the pet shop owner had) ended. Heck, I even enjoyed the plot twist of the bull story, shit took me by surprise.
The other stories tho however just didn’t have the same impact, I skipped the shota scenes (in the hamster and tiger stories) for obvious reasons so I’m hoping the most recent story has a good twist because this manga has some potential.
