I think a few parts are just written wrong due to translation cause the description makes me think he will be the savior and he took him out to eat cause "he's got I to eat " so I think he was trying to comfort him after he lied. Also at the start of his evilosh rant he starts with how children that tend to have broken teeth get reported by their moms and it means that the kid are abused so the fact that the man has those injuries and hasn't reported is mostlikly cause he is gay and socitt view male victims different. When he said that rude thing about gays and that he's tell him he has gay issues is cause I think he wants him to feel more comfortable being gay. But once again things from one langue to anther downstairs always translate well. Not saying it's the translates fault cause it's hard to know how to interpret everything. Once again i think he is saying he will try to help and maybe we will see more in later chapters if he really is nice or an ass.
The last bit of chapter 1 confused me. Is the doctor not a good guy? Because he was speaking like an antagonist.
