isn't that what this manga is exactly doing? lol maybe the mangaka breaks the 4th wall xD
Chiharu is a popular novelist, if he can get out of his slump then maybe he can spread the legend of the water god in his books so that Rin's name becomes more well known like Inarigami, and Rin won't be so tied to his legend.
