I apologize, but this is the only place where I think people can help me figure out the name of this anime. It starts off with a group of kids who wander into the forest and come across things they weren't supposed to know, so later on they are brainwashed by the government. They all grow up to young adults and a boy from the group is sent away by the government, who happens to be the crush of the female protagonist. Slowly, the group memebers start to forget about him, but in effort to remember him, the female protagonist goes to his hometown and starts to figure out what happened to him.
