Well the author still used a cheap way to make the characters suffers and by that I mean *oh ok lets just make the antagonist rape the MC*. This is a very popular idea for yaoi and yet it makes the stories quite unpleasant.
I agree about rape being random in yaoi but in this very story, it makes sense. The story takes place in middle age. It was quite a banality back then, and it's not even surprising that the MC, popping out of nowhere, injured, in an era that's not his, end up in this situation ; especially there since he was picked up by crusaders.
I believe rape did happen more often, but I believe it was more about the women don’t have a say in it or old men with young boy(not adult yet) or with slaves. I don’t think it was normal to rape a random man.
Like of course there are people who could rape a random man(adult and he looks strong), but it’s probably around less than 1%, and the MC HAD to teleport in front of someone like that.
About this very scene i think it also has a purpose, in that chapter 44 Taehoon was seen by the two night watchers who take care of Charlotte thanks to that rape scene, and they start wondering if it could be him.
I don't know for sure wether or not it's gonna be useful in the next chapters but the whole story is very coherent, so I assume this is how Taehoon will be able to connect to Leopold (who retired and is in a terrible state of depression, drunk at his house all day long according to what was shown).
And hey, seriously. Crusaders were savages.

I may be wrong but i don't think so, the story was really interesting so i read it very carefully, and i didn't see anything out of place, incoherent or just mean for free ( in the context of fantasy of course). Next chapters will reveal the truth, stay tunned (*-*) xD
I agree. I don't like how rape is just randonly thrown in the plot like usual yaoi shit but I think rape in this one is essential to the story.
Well this one is more realistic, which is a lot better than random rape in the a train, but i wouldn’t say essential, not even close.

But i dont agree, yea the MC is good looking but i think its ridiculous to make so many straight men attracted to other men (except if the men looked like women). Anyway yaois always do that, make all men wants to sexually harrass the MC to add drama. And even if this one is set in a world where homosexuality might be more common, it’s still far from reality to just make men rape men like it’s just what everyone would do.

I didn't think of it as homosexuality it's more of a barbaric way of asserting possession and control over something/someone unique and rare like with slaves, some masters would rape them without feeling any kind of attraction it's more of a "I have power , I own you ,I'll do whatever I want because I can" type thing

And yes people were more brutal back in time because the law wasn’t as well established as now but it’s still yaoi-like to make men constantly sexually harrass other men. There are indeed men who would like to rape Taehoon in that situation, but the % of people would be very low, and of course Taehoon had to teleported in front of a man like that, and he is the captain of his group so he is going to do like he wants.

I don't know why more and more people seem to only like superficial, plain stories... Of course this one is not aimed at a young audience, the author themselves said so... But SHIT this story is SO FUCKING INTERESTING! It has literally EVERYTHING, a full background, interesting and well developed characters, an amazing plot, an universe of its own, a coherent storyline, humor, dramas, action, originality, and the art is gorgeous... A whole new world! It's been awhile since I found such a deep story, but the only depth that seems to capture people's attention is the one of the seme's dick in the uke's ass. -_- this is very disappointing.
