to be fair, I don’t think this kiss was really supposed to be seen as their first serious REAL kiss, this one was just supposed to be an accidental funny one and wasn’t given a very serious mood atmosphere because the kiss simply wasn’t serious to begin with and was the by the result of a third party interfering aka he tian having their faces smack together lmao. I’m sure the author still has their actual, first, serious, mutual kiss initiated by themselves up her sleeve and it will be more romantic and serious when it is initiated by either zhan zheng xi or jian yi but for now this is a step closer to that and them being more comfortable with it. lol.
