I do. : Do people hate Fukami and Miya getting together or something? That’s depressing. This story is better than a lot of shit out there and these people seem to want them to just be friends. If there’s a story out there where a straight guy and a gay guy are friends, I’m willing to bet a lot of the readers of that hypothetical manga will be shipping them instead.
I’m guessing these folks who’d rather see a platonic relationship just want some sort of representation or whatever. They want something ‘realistic’. Tough request, especially coming from a BL manga.
I do too want them together as lovers.
And I can’t understand the debate over here about staying friends or becoming lovers. As if one automatically excludes the other. I firmly oppose the statement that wonderful friendships die when lovers meet cause friendship and love have the same root, although they don’t have the same end.
The way I see it: the MCs respect and care for each other deeply, that’s the root of their friendship. If you add in the future a layer of sexual attraction and a certain will to monopolize the other, all’s good to me.
Plus, now that the uke has romantic feelings for the seme, there’s no turning back to a perfect platonic relationship without at least one of them being miserable.
I think some people view as rare to find good sincerely friends on their side.
But I want both become lovers.
I just like to see Uke find good friends like.... "Oh no.. hey bitch, not harm my friend.. i don't care if you love him" blah.
Am I the only one who wants a lovers relationship and not a friends one?
