Nemu needs to build his own identity. Maya need to find his own reason to work hard.
But I really don't think Maya sees Ruka in a romantic way at all. Like he never is shown thinking of Ruka as anything more than a cool coworker/aspirational figure. It is Nemu who thinks they are perfect for each other.
Lets hope so. Nemu and his insecurities are blocking his own happiness. He still has not learned to trust Maya completely. Even though he thinks it is own issues getting in the way. As for Ruka, perhaps they author should set the two of them up for at least a one time go so that he can get it out of his system for good and leave the boys alone finally.
they both need to go and explore other options, then if the feelings are still there, try it again..|Maya with Ruka and Nemu whoever has a crush on him at the moment. I really do not feel sad for either of them.
