I don't understand why people keep blaming Canaria for not just staying with Caesar. She already stated before, it's a politics thing. For Caesar to become king, he needs the support of the Lancasters (I think that's the name of Gracie's family). Canaria can't help him because of her family. Unless Caesar finds another way to forge the necessary alliance to ascend the throne, which he is currently looking for (which I think would be Gracie taking over her family).
