That first chapter got me in tears when Toyohashi had the monologue about being an unmarried gay man looking at the young married couple households’ light. Later on when he walks out, looking at the same scenery, but with his lover this time, I cried a bit more.
Chapter 2 got me terribly nostalgic for my favourite Japanese diner at the rural town I used to live in and their oyakodon... They are the best when done right. Tsubaki’s worries and troubles are very relatable, and he’s absolutely adorable with Azuma-san. Wish them both the best!
