You clearly don’t understand what an abusive relationship is if you can say something like that so easily. And if you do then you suck. I came from a family where I got hit and my mom didn’t do shit. Sometimes I resent my mom for not doing anything, but my dad was so domineering. At the very least, her presence made him less violent. And I think technically that could be the case for the kids, but obviously that’s not implied soooo. Also the mom did try and clearly didn’t work, she is probably a sentence away from being abused herself tbh
