The fuck. After learning his son slept with that pervert he even got the guts to get jealous over his own son just because the kid had a crush to katou and said those things out of spite?? Seriously iwaki?!
All of the adults are fucked up. The mother.iwaki.katou and the other guy, shou's manager.?
Didn't do shit to protect the kid. And even said its part of growing up. He made his choice.lets just move on. Really. Fuck you.
Since then i can't see myself enjoying this anymore. Iwaki and katou to be precise.

I'll just wait for shou's side story to be translated.. hopefully.

i think you haven't read the part that shou decided it himself. it is also emphasizes that he doesn't want to build his career using iwaki-san's light and use his own way to climb up.

Nah, I know that, but I also believe it's mainly because he doesn't want to be a burden to Iwaki so he took the risk, it's just annoying how they brushed him off so easily.

But, really, what could they do? He already did that (with his mother's help, let's not forget it, the "worst parent of the year" goes to her, not Iwaki) and he himself moved on from it (i'm sure with a lot of struggle) so there was nothing the manager, Iwaki or Katou could've done. He IS 18, after all, and whether the others agree with his decision or not (and they don't they told him that clearly) they can't stop him. (i'm 20, Gods know i do not listen to my parents when it comes to what i want to do)
For the jealousy, i agree, it was unsavory, but Iwaki and Katou have always been quite jealous so even if not welcomed it was not surprising
