Sangwoo never loved Bum. That’s not how you treat someone you love

Dude, there's not just one type of love, but I get what you mean... at some point Sangwoo developed a dependence on Bum and it slowly turned into a sickly love. Of course love can be interpreted differently and in this case Koogi let us to decide haha.

And thats really sad. The fact that he never loved Bum and just saw his mother makes this whole thing much more dramatic and sad

Yeaa, more than one type of love exists. Obsessove love one thing is very common in stories. The idea of lollipops and raimbows with a few stormy days here and there isn't the end all be all for something as vague as "love". In this specific story though, I don't really know if he did or not

Obsession and love are two different things. Yeah there’s tough love but abuse goes against everything what love stands for. I’m very concerned about people who normalize violence and obsession in relationships. But I guess to each their own...?

I never said it was normal, valid, okay, or an accurate depiction of what love is and should be. Just that obsessive love *is* an actual thing
