I mean Ria and Caitel has sometimes think of the same things especially like how annoying Perdel is. They even do the same thing like ignoring him especially at dinner. And Ria is also "abusing" somewhat at Val like Caitel does to Perdel. And Val acts similar to Perdel
And I'm not sure I would say he was bloodthirsty though. He had a big temper and the way he thought is normal is to get rid of anything that will get whats his. And he hardly or even tried his best to not be violent infront of Ria so he wouldn't have rubbed his violent tendencies on her. Especially when she was young (Wich usually that's the age where you act like what you see around you)
i know i was just using a generic word because i'm too lazy to write thoughtfully. anyways didn't he kill a guy in front of her at the beginning? i just think the character development has become very stagnant.
wasnt it when perdel was actully the one that requested Ria to come? he was angry but even told perdel he didn't want him to see him like this. and even in one fo the chapters when the story was told in his perspective, we see that his goal was to show her only good things. and when some of his plan didn't go as planned, he regretted being mean. (like when she started crying)
but I mean Ria was also had the mental of her passed self. so she was already i guess...stable.
and i think if she was also bloodthisty, Caitel would have killed her. Im sure of it. because he would not want a child to ruin his empire and then kill him the emperor. like how he did to his father and siblings
but i mean its just my thought idk
would have been cool if ria had been influenced by caitel too, picked up some of his bloodthirst or something.... now that would have been an interesting time skip.
still at this point i'd settle for literally anything happening that doesn't involve exposition
