It’s not that he killed, but that he broke his pattern of killing. Before he was interesting to Clark because he was so different and he made himself basic (as much as a murderer can be) by just killing someone random cause he thought it would keep Clark interested

Can anyone tell me why Clark got so mad when Alex showed him that silver ring? Who did he kill? Or did he just steal the ring from the doctor?
