I think ive read that exact dj.... It was... Something... It just felt weird reading it cause I had just finished reading the novel and Markl is EXTREMELY different than in Miyazaki's (the biggest difference being in Miyazaki's he's a child and in the original he's a young adult.)
Yeah. I have read the first book too. But Miyazaki's version of Marcl stuck, so reading that doujinshi might ruin it for me haha. xD Howl definitely was represented so well in the animation. :D

On a side note, I remember finding a doujinshi about Marcl and Howl, and didn't read it cause I was scared of the consequences hahahuhu
